San Diego Valentine’s Ideas
It’s that time of year once again, and love is in the air. That’s right, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Now anyone can pick up a dozen roses and some chocolate on the way home from work, but we know that you want to do something AMAZING for that “Special Someone” this year… you just don’t know what it is exactly.
Fear not, for once again The Yarbrough Group has you covered. This week on the San Diego Real Estate BLOG, we bring you our favorite unique Valentine’s Day ideas.
Take a Bay Cruise
What could be more romantic than a stroll along the beach at sunset? How about a cruise ON the water that includes drinks, dinner, and dancing? There are several companies that offer San Diego Bay cruises with a wide variety of options, so shop around and find one with a theme that suits your tastes. Not enough romance for you? Then why not take an ACTUAL Valentine’s Cruise? Many cruise lines offer special romantic weekend cruises this time of year, many at very affordable prices. So grab your Valentine and head out to sea (The Sea of LOVE).
Take a Dance Class
Not all of us have the natural grace of Fred Astaire, but that won’t matter to your Valentine once they see you are willing to throw caution to the wind and step out onto the dance floor. Something like a Salsa or Ballroom lesson under the tutelage of an experienced teacher will be an experience your Special Someone will treasure forever.
Put on a Valentine’s Scavenger Hunt
This one takes a bit of planning, but is absolutely AMAZING when you pull it off. Leave a note with a clue on it at home for your Valentine to find. This note will tell them something you love about them, and give them a clue to the location of the next note in a series of notes that you have prepared and left at various locations that are special to you and your Valentine. The final clue should lead them to a romantic spot for where you are waiting with a prepared (or delivered), candle-lit meal and a dozen roses. A lot of work to be sure, but it will be one Valentine’s Day that your Valentine will remember forever.
