We are start in beautiful Chula Vista.
Location
Chula Vista is located in South Western San Diego county, only seven miles from the Mexican-American border.
Demographics
Chula Vista is the second largest city in the County of San Diego wtih a population of 260,598 and is one of richest cultural, economic and environmentally diverse zones in the United States.
Geography
Chula Vista is a rather large city that ranges all the way from the Pacific Ocean in the west, to the Lower Otay Lake in the East.
It is said that every building in Chula Vista has a view of the Pacific Ocean, and while that is not strictly true, it is a good rule of thumb. The city owes those view to its generally flat topography that gently rises up from sea level as one heads east.
General Info
Chula Vista is primary a residential community, though it does boast more than its share of dining, shopping, and entertainment. It is also home to the United States Olympic Training Facility. While is it a very comfortable place to live and relax, if you commute to work, you can typically expect to commute between 15 and 45 mins north to reach many of the typical employment centers such as downtown. But this means that Chula Vista itself is relatively quiet. Chula Vista is one of San Diego’s up and coming neighborhoods, it has a very low crime rate and it has seen a recent influx in population as well as a significant increase in property values. The city is known to be very interested in growing its popular image and is spending heavily on community improvement projects. All-in-all Chula Vista is a wonderful, up-and-coming, family oriented place to live.
