Golden Hill is one of the oldest parts of the city of San Diego, and as such, it has collected quite a broad selection of home types throughout the years. One can find a home of virtually any style in this eclectic neighborhood that features a little bit of everything including Craftsman, California Bungalow, Mission Style, Victorian, Classical revival, Tudor, Post Modern Contemporary, ‘oriental’ influence, Swiss chalet, Art Deco, Contemporary, and more. Given that Golden Hill is close to downtown, while also featuring all that one could desire in a residential neighborhood, the homes in this area are highly sought after, and while expensive, they aren’t as highly priced as some of the other areas of San Diego proper.
