Put your turkey in the oven, pack up the family and come and run or walkSan Diego’s only Turkey Trot that has 3 distances to choose from: 15k (9.3 miles), 10k (6.2 miles), 5k (3.1 miles). Looking for a Thanksgiving Day run in San Diego where everyone can be happy? Look no further!. Whether you want to walk the 5k or run your tail off on any of the 3 courses, everyone will have a blast this Thanksgiving and The San Diego South Bay Turkey Trot and Food Drive.
5K (3.1 miles) that you can walk or run, bring a stroller or try to PR your fastest 3 mile run on a fast course
10K (6.2 miles) a distance you can run/walk or race. Fun, challenging and beautiful course where you won’t feel guilty for that extra helping of potatoes!
15K (9.3 miles). Ok runners, this one’s for you! Have an extra helping of stuffing with gravy and all the pie you want after you finish this course. Enjoy the combination of road, dirt, and a climb up Otay Lakes Road with a fast downhill finish. Beautiful, fun and challenging.
You must be able to complete any of the 3 races within 2 hours and 30 minutes (minimum average pace for 15K is 16min/mile)

Come “move your feet before you eat” this Thanksgiving at Oceanside’s 12th Annual PMCU Turkey Trot 10k or 5K run/walk.
Join one of the fastest growing holiday traditions. Be sure to bring the whole family, as there will be races for everyone. Event offers a costume contest, largest teams competition, fabulous live entertainment on the course and finisher medals for all participants. Free digital photos to all registered participants.
Stroller Policy
We love our stroller warriors but have a few rules about their participation at our event. Due to the crowd size and insurance, we kindly must enforce the following rules:
5k– Walking strollers only. No running strollers. Please line up in last two or three waves with Walkers.
10k – Running strollers can participate in the 10k. Your pace must be faster than 12 min/mile in order for us to open Coast Hwy north of Sportsfisher for neighbors to enter and exit.

Race Day Gear Check
Participants who are using rapid transit such as, biking, carpooling or being dropped off at the event, will have a gear check will be available in the courtyard of the Civic Center from 6:15 am to 10:30 am. Any items left behind on Race Day will be taken to the Kinane Events office and held for 7 days. After 7 days, items will be donated to the Women’s Resource Center. Please note, Kinane Events staff and volunteers are not held responsible for any lost or damaged items. We highly recommend that valuable items be left at home.

Be a part of San Diego’s most family-friendly race of the year.
On Thanksgiving morning, join over 7,000 participants to walk, run, or sprint through beautiful Balboa Park for a great cause. The 5K also offers live music, games, Disney-inspired characters and a craft beer garden. Proceeds help Father Joe’s Villages prepare and serve nearly one million meals to our neighbors who are homeless.
