On May 4th through the 6th, the Julian Woman’s Club will be hosting their 91st annual Wildflower Show in the historical Town Hall in Julian in San Diego’s East County.

With Julian’s mountain valley location, and close proximity to both the national forest and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, it is home to 855 species of plants. The annual Wildflower Show is meant to educate all in attendance about the botanical wealth of Julian and the surrounding area.

Club members will spend two days gathering wildflowers from five local plant zones, and display the wildflowers Julian Town Hall. The flowers are arranged on tables correlating to the different geographical areas in which they can be found, and display cards are provided with the name of the plant and it’s prescribed uses by Native Americans.

It is time once again for the The Rhythm & Brews Music and Craft Beer Festival.
